The vision for this piece came to me little by little. Once I was ready to begin, I knew it would be a challenge. I even had to dust off some of my woodworking skills! Door to Santorini is the first piece in a new series inspired by my travels. I’ve always been drawn to doors and windows for their texture, mystery, and symbolism. This door opens to reveal a photograph I took while visiting Santorini, blending my love of painting and photography into one piece. I'm so pleased with how the idea came to life.
