Hi, I’m Larissa, an abstract artist based in Davidson, North Carolina.
I create art full of color, texture, and story as a way to explore deeper meaning in the world around me.
Art has always been part of my life, but after 16 years in a corporate media role, I found myself ready for a change. I stepped away and returned to painting, this time not putting it on the back burner.
I work with acrylics, charcoal, pastels, and mixed media on canvas and wood. Some pieces begin with a clear vision, while others are guided more by intuition and emotion.
My work has been shown in exhibitions including the Mint Museum Pop-Up Art Market, Charlotte Art League, and Davidson Gallery Crawl. I’m currently a resident artist with Charlotte Studio Artists in NoDa.
Outside the studio, you can usually find me spending time with my wife and our spirited Yorkie, Symba.
